About charla
Hi, I'm Charla. I am passionate keeping your taxes low, attracting more jobs and businesses to our county, and fiscally responsible spending of taxpayers’ money.
A Virginia native, I graduated with a BA in government and politics from George Mason University and a Masters in Strategic Communication from Liberty University. I worked for Senator Roger Jepsen (R-IA) in Washington, D.C., served as a political appointee for Ronald Reagan, and represented the National Credit Union Administration on Capitol Hill.
My very first job out of college was working for Rev. Jerry Falwell at Moral Majority's office in Washington, D.C.. Later, I continued by pro-family work as state director of Concerned Women for America, and communications director for Liberty Counsel.
Today, I sell real estate for Long and Foster and teach adjunct for Liberty University.
The Lord has blessed me with many opportunities, but nothing compares to being a wife to Navy Chief (retired) Rick Bansley, "mom" my sons and daughters-in-law, and now "Nana" to the joy of my life, my granddaughter.
