As a mother of three sons and now "Nana" to three spirited granddaughters, Charla lives the family values she champions. Working along side her husband Rick, a retired Navy Chief, she understands the priorities that matter most to Bedford County families.
Whether teaching at Liberty University, defending family values on Capitol Hill, or serving as a political appointee in the Reagan administration, Charla has brought the same warmth, values, and determination to everything she does. Her career has always been about more than policies—it’s been about people.
For over seven years, she has been a dedicated advocate for Bedford County families, fighting against tax increases, ensuring community safety, and promoting economic opportunities to help our community thrive.
